Our pregnant Nubian, Blossom, is due in early April. She had a positive pregnancy blood test 40 days post breeding, and a positive ultrasound showing two kids 65 days post breeding. She is a freshener and is 2-3 years old. Her vulva has been getting swollen and pink like the rest of our pregnant goats, but other than that she's showing no other signs. She is a very slim goat and hasn't widened very much, if at all. All of our other goats are seasoned kidders, so it could be they just get bigger faster because their stomachs have already been stretched out. She also hasn't really starting developing her udder, and I thought fresheners usually got their udders pretty early on in pregnancy. Could we have missed her losing the babies? She gets alfalfa/grass hay and gets some grain about 3 times a week.
