One of my CA does had her first litter of 6 at 10 months. Fantastic rabbit and momma, went out five weeks post delivery and she had a fully prolapsed uterus. To the best of my knowledge she was not pregnant- didn't fined any signs of pregnancy, was still in full milk nursing her kits. Culled her out and did a through exam and couldn't find anything unusual. It is done now, just looking for thoughts or experiences. I haven't found much info on the subject so thinking it is not a common problem.

I have only seen this once, many, many years ago, in a Jersey Wooly. The doe was dead when I found her - shock, I expect. I remember she left a litter of 4-week-olds, but I'm trying to remember whether there were any babies, live or otherwise, produced when she prolapsed.

Thanks. Interesting that she was four weeks postpartum. My rabbit seemed almost un-bothered by the prolapse.
