Questions about milk & cream

I've done numerous taste tests with folks who swear they don't like goat milk. They are always amazed how good fresh goat milk is!

You can't compare commercial goat's milk to milk fresh from the goat. Fresh milk from the goat is delicious. So is the cream but a cream separator is necessary. It makes fabulous ice cream too. Even the skim milk after separating the cream is still really good. BUT Toggenburg milk is definitely nasty tasting. I say this because our Toggs were fed the same, and their milk was treated the same, and it had a definite horrible taste - from 3 different Toggenburgs - compared to our Nubians, LaManchas, and Alpines.
