So I'd been curious about rabbit eyes and wanted to ask this and see you all think.

Sometimes when I'm looking at youtube videos etc, some of the videos the rabbits in them, look like a lot of the eyes are almost sticking out of their skulls or a bit loose. Sometimes they looked like too much eye surface area is exposed out of the skull. I might not have the right wording for how to describe this but I think some of you may have had the same observation.

I wondered if this is actually a defect.

And whether or not its a defect or not, I don't think it looks good at all. (It looks a bit gross in some cases.)

Not all of them have this but some do.

What do you think?

Rabbits are almost the ultimate prey species, so of course they're gonna have eyes on the sides of their head to let them see things sneaking up on them. Sometimes it does seem as if they protrude, although unless there's an underlying medical condition, most of it should be normal.
