Glad it appears you've nabbed the guilty ones.
Me too. I was so depressed it was all of them.

Clean eggs yesterday too. I believe we have 7 d'uccles, 2 sultan bantams, and 4 lucky cochins left. The egg face ones were dispatched this morning. Hopefully we are done with sticky, stinky eggs before the warm weather and flies set in. I should probably scrub out and disinfect any boxes I keep in service. We placed an order for white and buff silkies from CACKLE and not McMurray earlier. I guess we wait for that and hope they do better than McMurray. Hopefully we actually get what we ordered and hopefully there are fewer deformities and issues (I think most of the deformities were the d'uccles, and they're still chickening and being tiny monsters-fiesty little things. They are still very pretty).

Poison Ivy is illegal now.

They can come here and arrest mine, take it to plant jail.

Crazy liberals who think they can control nature! Reminds me of the Spotted Owl fiasco in the Pacific Northwest. Put all the logger ut of business and onto welfare to "save" the Spotted Owl who supposedly were only breeding and living in old growth forest. Now we know that the Spotted Owl was being forced into the old growth forest by a lrger meaner close owl relative that took over the newer growth forests and chased them into old growth.

Sadly the people that do these things don't know about animals or ecology in its natural state. Instead they are city eople that "love" nature and wild animals". They are the same ones that protect cougar, wolves, bears, and other predators by telling you that they are "more afraid of you that you are of them". Most protected predator species have no fear of humans since they have never been harmed by humans so it is no wonder when hikers get attacked. Then everyone is horrified that the trackers have to euthanize the "harmless" animal! This whole "live with nature" thing is fine as long as you realize that the quote "Nature - red in tooth and claw" is correct. Understanding that nature is dangerous and lots of things are not cuddly Disney type animals helps both people and animals stay alive and healthy.

What other naturally growing plants do they plan to "outlaw". STUPID!

Glad that you found out what was happening with the electricity to the barn. I would definitely run another line myself and then have tht electrician come back and hook it up. If you are interested n solar for the house, you install some smaller panels at the barn first and see if you actually like the way it works. The problem with solar is that it is very expensive (even more when the government offers "incentives") and the panels don't last long enough to warrant the significant investment yo have to make. Most strt to go bad after about 10 years or so.

DD1 and her husband bought a house that already had solar about 7 years ago and all the panels have gone bad. DSIL1 bought it because he is frugal and thought the solar would pay for itself in utility bills. First one bank went bad, then another, and he found out that replacing the panels was going to cost him a small fortune. More in fact than he had saved on electricity! Unless you can install the panels and do the upkeep yourself (like a friend of urs did) solar is not as great as the hye The utility companies don't credit you with the amount of electricity you generate and put back into their systems like the solar comanies tell you. They give you a fractional amount and keep the rest of the energy.

And how to dispose of the bad panels?

Like turbines, those pushing for solar didn't plan on eventual disposal.

He just disappeared. Hate to say it, but he probably passed away. People fall off for various reasons, but he was always on BYH and an active member, then just nothing. I miss him.
Sometimes there's closure. On another forum longtime online friend had a stroke, died within days. I was thankful that her daughter posted to let everyone know.
