After Ringo left our place, it was several months before Maisy stopped being mad at me. She literally would not let me brush her and about the only contact she let me have was to bring her feed.

Sometimes people do not realize the mourning animals truly have! I had an old mare stand at place her friend died for a month -- then she laid down and passed away there they have connections!

When I buy an adult goat I try to buy their friend. It helps them transition the move and working into hierarchy at my place.
