I have not posted in a long time and figured I would update everyone. As we all know, goats are addicting.. my herd has grown to 13 now! We actively show in MGR sanctioned shows all summer and are doing better and better every time. We are currently at 7 does, 2 wethers and 4 bucks. Here are each of the herd members...
This is Sunset Ridge Fainters Isabell. She is almost 9 yrs old and is my first goat. She does well showing and is quite the goof. She is currently bred to Jamcin's Sailor and is due in March.

Fernhill Fainters Mulanto, she is 3 yrs old, wonderful addition to our herd. She came all the way from TN.

WP Jinx, she is all the way from KY, and has great bloodlines. She is 3 as well and threw 2 gorgeous bucklings this spring. We unfortunately lost one at 24hrs old. She is no show goat due to legs, but she throws stocky kids.

WP Reba, she will be turning 3 yrs this spring, gave me a beautiful set of buck/doe twins. She does well in the show ring and will be back in 2019!!

Riverside Fainters Maya, she is a homebred Doeling out of Isabell and a buck I no longer own. She is turning 3 in March. This spring she kidded with a beautiful buck/doe pairing, but we lost the doeling right away. I kept her son for a wether. The picture is old3r..

Rising Sun Goat Farm Elvira, came all the way from OK. I am blessed to be able to own this goat. She is 2 yrs old and bred to kid in February. She is currently bred to WP Valor. She is the doe on the right, this is at the MN Myotonic Madness show in 2018. She was the Reserve Junior Champion Doe.

Riverside Fainters Penny, another homebred doeling out of WP Reba and Riverside Fainters Cash. She is a stocky well muscled Doeling which I am super excited to see in the ring again in 2019. Please excuse the homeless look..

Riverside Fainters Gilbert is a home bred wether. He is one of my 2 MGR Platinum wethers. He is an awesome wether as well, very friendly and finally won his first point at the MN Myotonic Madness show. We joke he was always a bridesmaid never a bride. My goal for 2019 is to get him to Nationals if I can! He is pictured on the left.

Riverside Fainters Sheldon is Maya's little buckling from this spring. His sire is Jamcins Sailor. He won Reserve Grand Junior Platinum Wether at the Mn Myotonic Madness show. I am excited to see what he can do in 2019!

WP Valor is a new buck I purchased while showing in IN. Less than 2 hrs after purchasing him, he won Grand Champion Buck! I cannot wait to see his first kids for me this spring!

Jamcins Sailor, purchased from MO. He is a gentle buck who is very myotonic. He has done ok in the ring, but is very muscular.

Riverside Fainters Raj, a homebred buckling out of Jinx and Cash. He is one I am watching in the showering. I had difficulty selling him, so he has stayed on as a buck here with us. He won Reserve Junior Champion Buck at the Southern Belle Classic in AR. He is pictured on the left.

Riverside Fainters Cash. My first homebred keeper. He has been diagnosed with severe environmental allergies, so will no longer be bred or shown.

Beautiful animals! I really wish we had shows for goats other than dairy and boers around here. If we had shows that allowed them I would get some in a heartbeat if they looked anything like yours!

Welcome back! Your goats are beautiful! Love all the pics! I'm sorry that Cash is dealing with allergies, what a bummer :( You are doing the right thing by not using him, I thank you for that! Good job :thumbsup

Just allergy tested Gilbert, he too has allergies, which now goes with the idea of it is genetic.

Oh no. I’m sorry. :(

You DO have a very nice foundation though! Will you be bringing in a new herd sire?

I am undecided on what to do, I have talked about it, but Valor is technically his "replacement "
