    Is it ok for a 4 week old lamb to eat a few roses?

    I'd say sure, as long as they haven't been recently sprayed with anything.

    And the owner of said roses doesn't mind :)

    No problems at all with roses.......she said having lost all leaves and flowers to her 'little darlings' on several occasions over the last few years when the gate has been left open!

    Yesterday they ate my carnations.....I'll let you know when it is light if carnations ( broccoli and strawberry plants, which I know are safe) have caused any tummy upset.

    Carnations clearly a safe lamb food.....not one that I'm advocating, but won't poison your little ones.
