Selling Jerky?

Hi
Was just wondering if anyone has had any success selling Jerky? And if there are a lot of regs. and hoops to jump thru to sell it. Any different methods of packaging, just in the thinking stages here and wondering and looking for feed back good or bad. Thanks everyone

This varies significantly from state to state. You will also have to deal with federal regulations if you are planning to sell across state lines. Since it is a food product, yes, it will have lots of regulations.

The State of Maine has pretty stiff regulations on any prepared food..... you can check the Maine.gov site and should be able to download that information.
