Excuse me while I brag a little bit... :p

Yesterday, my 3 month old REW Jr. doe, Nutty Buckeye's Artanna took Best of Variety (white) and second place in the Best of Breed category against a total of 25 French Angoras!
She was the only Jr. in the running for BOB and to take second place is AMAZING for such a young Jr. rabbit!!!

:celebrate

I brought 8 rabbits with me yesterday and the others did the following:

Peter: Sr. buck class, 2nd.

Rain: Jr. doe colored class, 2nd

Expresso: Jr. doe colored class, 4th

Leo: Jr. buck colored class, 2nd

Courage: Jr. buck colored class, 3rd.

Off to another show this coming weekend too!!
:woot :bun

OH, and the Jersey Woolies we brought did 2nd in Jr. Doe, and 3rd in Jr. buck.

Thank You guys. It was my first taste of all my hardwork paying off.
This year I dedicated myself to researching what lines I wanted to buy to start my FA herd.
I went out and got what I wanted, took only the best and spent alot of drive time and $$$.

Well I went up against a woman who has been breeding FA for over 20 years and is known for having very nice animals. And I took second against all of her rabbits. It was an amazing moment and I'm still shaking my head. She came to me afterwards and said that I did very well for a second show. ESPECIALLY with such a young doe! I cannot wait to see what this doe does as she matures!
I was beaming :D
