Hey, I have some issues with my herd this year here in sc.
one of my saanen does has been wormy since I brung her home almost 3 months ago now. I’ve probably wormed her a good 4-5 times already. Low famacha score like all the way white, boney hips, weight loss, clumpy
, she even got pink eye. Within the last 2 weeks I’ve gave Corrid to my entire herd for 5 days through their water bucket and it’s been hot so they have been drinking it up. I gave probios paste and electrolytes on day 6 & 7 to everyone then wormed everyone again with quest + horse dewormer. Also doing red cell, vit b shots, ultra cruz iron charge supplement with their feed, and apple cider vinegar mixed with water and fresh minced garlic. The entire herd seems to be wormy not just her she just looks the worst. No temp, no weird behavior just skinny.
They get goat granola mixed with 16% livestock feed, 16% goat medicated feed, and alfalfa pellets. Everyone is eating and fighting at the feed stands (the skinny saanen one is the bully so it’s not that) I just started soaked beet pulp today in hopes to get weight on her.
All the goat vets aren’t taking clients and the mobile vets are over an hour out so they charge $100 just to come. Last visit was almost $300 for one goat and he wouldn’t even give me a bottle of antibiotics (for pink eye) he gave me 2 predrawn syringes and an ointment
