Sometimes switching milk can cause issues and end up with bacterial infection. With no coverage of CD & T from mom's immunity this is highly likely.

Just saw this happen to a friends goat kid.

Found the lamb unresponsive in pasture. Decided to give dilute formula. He got slightly better then with another 4oz feed he got much better. Returned him to mom and will watch. As always I appreciate all the advice and believe it or not I've got 33 other lambs who are healthy. And two bottle lambs- Donald and Hilary. Donald bites and Hilary plants herself happily on furniture.

Bernie Sanders the bottle lamb is much better. It was touch and go- being independent he decided to wander around the pasture and wasn't getting enough milk. So he joined Donald and Hilary in the mudroom for bottles and antibiotics. Thanks to Southernbychoice for the heads up on the bacterial infection. Unlike their counterparts they get along well. :weee
