Hi.

I wanted to ask if silver fox rabbits can compete with Californians or New Zealanders in terms of production for meat, etc?

Do they produce as large litters as the other two?

And when I look them up google seems to be saying they get to the same sizes that the other two get to, but is that true? And is it also as consistent in speed of growth, or does it take longer?

How do they compare with the other two?

Thanks.

More meat to bone. Larger adult sizes than Californian. Depending on lines, they can be excellent meat show buns. 8-13 kits in a litter, but I always preferred the smaller numbers. Grew a bit slower, but been a few years, I'm sure some breeders have been improving it.
Don't forget to keep breeding proper coat type & silvering.
