Small sheep herd and one alpaca free to good home

I've procrastinating posting this..

I have a small herd of four sheep and one alpaca free to a good home, there are three wethers, one ewe and one intact male suri alpaca(all are strictly pets/fiber).. although I am not against breeding the ewe. The sheep are friendly once they get to know you and will do pretty much anything for sweet feed. The alpaca is more standoffosh but he loves the hose during the summertime. These guys mean the world to me but I have to let go of them to move into the next chapter of my life. I just want them to find a home where they can live and be happy for their lives. I refuse to send them to auction because I know exactly what will happen to them. I want to write in more detail but this ****s hard enough as it is. If you are interested please PM me, I have about a week left to rehome them. I am located in central NJ right by the PA border.

I wish my soft hearted PA extended family did farming and could take them off your hands and give you peace of mind, but no, they are big house, tiny yard suburbanites. As soon as they are homed you will be sad, but you will feel lighter and able to start moving on.
Don't worry, farming will get you back into it eventually. It gets in your blood and won't quit calling.

What about contacting a 4-H club nearby???? Maybe the extension agent????? Only having a week does not give anyone much time.....

Wow thats a good idea, Im so lost in my thoughts I didnt even think of that. Although Im not sure how active they are with corona and all that

The 4-H clubs may not be active so far as showing, but may be continuing projects and meetings. It's worth a try.

I actually found them an amazing home in NC and they left a week ago. Their new owners are everything I could have asked for and they send me lots of pictures

Congrats to finding them a home and that you and the new owners can communicate. It has got to be a very good feeling to know they have a good home and you can stop worrying.
