I always deworm mine when i see it. And it usually clears up. But it might be caused from something else. Hope someone else chimes in

One thing that can cause that is changing their food or adding too much of an item all at once... like no grain to 2 pounds of grain over night. Normally it will clear up after a day or two.

They have been soft
Soft clumps can be caused by sudden different forages ( like with spring coming in and different forages creeping up) - dietary changes of any kind... like hay, vines , leaves etc.
Tapes can cause soft clumps but you really don't want to deworm for tapes unless it is super bad or high load of another parasite.
Sometimes it can be a mild bacterial issue.
Give some probiotics.

USe FAMACHA and learn fecals... do not just deworm... you can create resistance AND superworms by doing this.

Later I'll try to tell you about "Mariah".... maybe I'll make a thread about it.

Or it could be as simple as giving them too much grain. Back off on the grain and it usually straightens out by the next day.
