I realize this has probably been asked to death but... I am looking to get two to three pygmy goats. I am thinking a 50x50 area we have lots of under brush for browse, and I plan on supplementing with hay and pellets. So first question: Is that enough space? Too much space?
Also I was thinking cattle panels for fencing. I have seen pros amd cons of it but financially it seems the most feasible.
Thank you in advance!

a 50x50 area is sufficient as a "dry lot"/pen area. You'll be surprised as goats browse more then graze, so they'll clear the underbrush down to ground level from as high as they can reach. It won't take them long either. In a matter of a month or two, it will be a dirt lot.

We use regular field fencing (red brand woven wire) with a strand of electric 6" off the ground and another 2ft off the ground. Nothing gets near our fences to climb.
