How cautious does one have to be when going to see the rabbit exhibition at the fair? Am I likely to bring a disease home to my herd? If I buy a rabbit at the fair, will it have picked up a bug from other rabbits at the fair?

When we go somewhere away from our animals, we were shoes and clothes that won't be used by our animals. We have shoes that are only used around our animals. Chances are that you probably won't be handling the rabbits being showed unless they are for sale and you are interested in them. Again just make sure to wash your hands/arms good and change clothes before going by yours. If you bring in any new animals it is always good biosecurity practice to keep them away from your animals in a separate area and take care of them last once your animals are taken care of. Quarantine any new animals for 30 days to watch for any possible sickness and to let them adjust to your environment.
