Hi everyone!
I have a three year-old goat, who is half Nubian and half Nigerian dwarf.
About a month ago, she started pooping big chunks instead of the small balls.
I’m wondering if anybody knows what might be wrong. I thought maybe she’s dehydrated. Her three boys are constantly drinking, but she never seems to.😕😕 All of their poo is normal.

She is otherwise acting normally. Very active, and constantly eating.

They have constant access to water, and are foraging 11 acres.

From my experance It should be okay but I would deworm her if you havent done that recently(just in case)

They haven’t had a feed change. I don’t give them hey hay. They forage all day.
Only difference in feed is spring versus winter.

Is it normal that it has been this way for a month?

Yep! Totally normal with the new spring growth coming on. Mine do that every so often, but most common in spring when the grasses start to grow (lots of water and sugar content in the new growth does it). As long as she seems normal otherwise, is active, eating and drinking normally, just monitor her. Most likely as the frantic-ness of new growth winds down, you should see her poo return to normal "beans".
Like baymule said, most of us call it dog logs. 🥰
