I will be getting a breeding pair of suffolk lambs in march and I am curious with others experience with them. How are their temperaments? Do they lamb well? Do they do good in cold weather? And anymore information if possible. I have read up on them and have decided to get them. I am just curious what others opinions are on them.

I can answer some of these. Heavy, thick set, real eye-candy. British Suffolks are a bit different from those in North America....tend to be very big boned here.

Temperament....usually lovely....friendly,non-aggressive sheep.

Lambing....usually OK and good mums.

Lowland sheep....don't like the cold and wet. Rather 'tender' disposition from this point of view.

I hope to inform you in some information about your sheep, but my flock of sheep is very different from you and our places are often desert ...
It is possible to estimate for your part some of the treatments that you need during breeding and be necessary in the farm:)
.
Good luck in production and health of sheep:frow
