I was talking to the sale barn manager the other day and he said the best price that they have had is May. He said that everyone sells based on the spring holidays and after that, no sheep are available when the demand really starts.

I had an appointment with the skin doctor this morning. This was scheduled based on a lot of things but my old body is showing the results of hundreds of hours of sun exposure. I had a growth in my ear that he said it looked cancerous but he sent in the skin sample to make sure. It is just another thing to deal with and we will just do that.

Our faces and ears take a beating from the sun. It's bad enough that we get wrinkles, but do we have to put up with skin cancers too?

My husband has had a lot of MOH's surgeries, mostly on his face and neck. He was a surfer for many years in the 60's and 70's.

It is a beautiful day out and perfect weather to get caught up on my grass cutting. It is also a good day to get some of our precooked meals done up. I have six racks of spare ribs and baby backs on the smoker that should be done around four this afternoon.
