There is a Thai Restaurant in the old Charleston area that we loved to go to when we lived there and this recipe from there became one of our favorites. We had this tonight and I thought some might like to try it.
The recipe: Thai Spiced BBQ Shrimp
Ingredients:
3 Tbs fresh lemon juice
1 TBS soy sauce
1 Tbs Dijon mustard
2 cloves of garlic minced (or onion powder)
1 Tbs brown sugar
Curry paste to taste (I use one teaspoon but the recipe calls for two)
1 pound medim shrimp (I use deveined but shell on (the recipe calls for peeled)
Mix all ingredients and marinate the shrimp in the fridge for at least an hour. These can be cooked on the stovetop but a charcoal grill does it to perfection. I use a grill basket for convenience but skewers work also.
