Welcome from Texas! Glad to have you here. I’m making the move from Dorper/ Katahdin mix to registered Katahdin Sheep. @Mike CHS in Tennessee raises registered and commercial Katahdin Sheep. Would love to hear more about your farm.

We're just getting started. Purchased our closed flock from CMG. Had our first lambing in Feb. keeping all our ewes to build our flock. Hopefully to 130. We're selling our ram lambs, keeping our original ram, and purchasing another reg ram lamb for his daughters. It's been an experience so far:yesss:

How long you been raising sheep?

4 years. I love my sheep. Started with a mixed flock and now moving up and improving the flock.

Welcome from western Arkansas. I posted a welcome to you on @Mike CHS's journal and called you "Miss Arnaki". Then I looked up your member info and saw you listed yourself as male. Oops! I guess that is to be expected from a Texas Aggie.
