I'm working on attaching a felt back this afternoon.

It's a cold and dreary autumn day and the kids are napping. It's the perfect time to stitch.

I bought this darker fabric for a different stitch project. "Carolina linen"
This bookmark has full coverage so the fabric color shouldn't matter too much.

I went Christmas shopping with one of my girls and saw a couple pieces of donated cross stitch:

I wish the woman's name wasn't on the last piece. I fear no one will buy it because it's personalized.

I forgot to post this from the other day. My daughter has expressed interest in trying cross stitch. We'll see if it's something she actually ends up liking or if she's just interested because I'm doing a lot of it right now.
Is the weather vane supposed to be a squirrel??
