Still plugging away on the cat border. Hoping to have it finished tonight or close to it. I was feeling emotional this afternoon and was trying to stitch. DH wanted me to cuddle with him on the couch while watching a show to cheer me up. I told him (in a light teasing tone) that I really should stitch because I'm running out of time before Christmas. And he said, "yeah, you should", and continued to cuddle me.

Working on finishing off Lion King characters bookmark.

I don't feel like the picture does it justice, but I like the color contrast of blue and brown on the sides.

Thanks! I'm thinking I probably should have gone a shade or two lighter on the brown, but I still like it.

@animalmom Did you see I did decide to go with fringing the edges as a finishing technique? I was initally worried but I think it looks good.

Thank you! Lion King is one sister's favorite Disney movie. I think she'll be really excited for it. I especially like how Pumba came out.

So many of you have left such kind comments on my work. It's making me feel like less of an Imposter, lol.

I sent one of my very craft friends a pic of the Starry Night bookmark. She was blown away and said she would have quit after 8 stitches.

For the sake of time, this is the extent of the border for this one.

I have one left to finish and two left to stitch and finish. Christmas is approaching quickly!

One thing I have discovered that's nice about finishing is I don't need to drag out so many supplies. Typically it's my needle, a couple of different floss colors, and the actual bookmark. Then I'm set to go!

I really like the look of the bookmark backed with felt. The felt gives the bookmark structure/body and just looks "done". Good job on all we have seen.
