I'm confused.
I went from damn good work, customer enjoying it, with me doing months worth of work, to everything you ever did was wrong, I gave you every opportunity to correct and you didn't, your work speaks for itself to instant block.
This was all in one paragraph.
These people out here have lost their fking GD minds. I now know why they can't get anyone out here to do work, it's not it's too hard to get out here or no one wants to pay, it's they are mentally unstable.

I'm definitely shutting down my business out here and going home to do my own thing, too much stress. Let the roads fall apart, people waddle in their own misery of living in rolling schit houses barely clinging onto survival and the neighborhood burn to the ground!

I was going to expand in equipment, but I said let me see what this year brings first and not go off of last years sales. Good thing I waited. Nope I had enough.

They don't know a good thing when they have one. Now they won't have you anymore and serves them right! Get on with your own building projects and let them DIY for themselves. When the crappy work they do falls apart, you won't be there to pick them up and fix it. Too bad.

Daddy (my DFIL) taught DH construction, concrete, copper plumbing, and basic car repair skills, etc. DH taught our boys. Later DFIL taught me cabinets and other stuff (fitting a doorknob) and I taught our boys. DH was an electric power lineman (both overhead and underground vaults). He rewired both our last houses and taught our boys. We rewired and replumbed both our last houses, built a barn, fenced, etc. ourselves. We understand the work you put in on that house for that ungrateful so and so.

We don't know mechanical work so everything you do on your machines awes me. 50 50 years ago DH changed oil, replaced starters etc. like any good backyard mechanic but now we have to take everything in for service. Of course we are older too which makes some difference but your skill and knowledge with all those vehicles you buy and repair is incredible.

We know how much you put into all your projects and the ingratitude shown by your neighbors (if you can call them "neighbors") astounds us. If you were our neighbor (or any of us on BYH) we would be putting up statues and plaques in your name, bringing you deserts and casseroles, etc.! LOL Those people around you are ignorant and ungrateful. They don't deserve you. Get on with your life and do your own thing. And remember that you have friends here on BYH who appreciate you and all you did to help those horrible people.

I finally got through and something about a grade being all wrong on a house pad I built. Lets see, I went 4% grade to not bring in fill dirt and to keep the front not a large drop off which is at the bottom of the slope/hill you are seeing to the right. House plan was going to be cabin on a stem wall so I built as such. Next month or so it changed to ICF house, last plan is Quonset house and then this all came out of I did it wrong a month later.
Something about she will have to pay someone to bring it to the correct grade and it's nowhere near correct that they had someone said it all wrong and to stop she doesn't want to fight. Well you poked the bear and I didn't stop I am now asking for proof and told her if it is wrong she didn't need to go off on me like that I will happily fix it for free and I want to see the specs. She said she will get them to me tomorrow....
This started off with saying her driveway was leaning in one area a little bit and the next minute she is saying she already found someone to fix it.
Well with that said I have been watching the gate everyday I have driven to town this week that blocks off the road going to her shack of a house, it hasn't moved which means no one has been back there.

Which brings up another thing, she claimed 3 weeks ago there is different covenants and the person who gated the road off is allowed that they are in different covenants than me. Um according to my covenants it covers that section of land and then some further around her. I asked for proof cause she claimed she had a lawyer saying as such, nope haven't gotten any proof from that either.

I don't just eyeball grades, I have a Spetra GL622 with a magnetic receiver that goes on my machinery to grade. It's in the picture. Notice the trees in the background as straight as they are, now look at the pad and see it makes almost perfect right angle, then look at my grade laser behind the excavator boom going parallel with the trees and my truck with excavator and driveway sloping naturally.

Yup - they'll all say it's the "getting there", the "cost", the "________________" flavor of the day complaint. When it's actually them -- their indecisiveness, pettiness, stupidity, and finally the icing on the cake - dissing those who have done the work there. That's why. Idiots don't know a good thing when they have it.
Get on with your house and projects - it'll be 1000% more fulfilling and fun.
Sorry you've got jerky idiots out there in droves.

Might seem small, but to put it in perspective, each one of those blocks are 2 x 2 x 6 feet weighing in at 3300 lbs each which brings that wall to 165k lbs so far.
