My grandmother's big thing was "ain't".... everytime we used it she would say, "ain't" isn't in the dictionary... then it was included and we showed her in the new dictionary... her only comment was, "what ever is this world coming to".... Miss her a lot too... she was 98 when she passed.
My grandmother said that too. She also called me a little heathen...lol

What a blessing that she was with you so long.💞 Mine passed at 78.

The saying/announcement on the doors of the cab are backwards compared to the other side...
:hide :hide ( My grandmother was an English teacher.. so I notice sentence structure as well as spelling.... )
So was my grandmother! She taught English before my dad arrived in 1928. We were grounded in grammar, so much that I still cringe over common but incorrect usage.

It's a blizzard!!! I'm happy, I have a reason for a break...
Got my house pad almost complete, next step will be to start trucking in loads of dirt after I fix a loader. 120' x 120'

That ain't right, I'm calling it now, spring has sprung here already despite this weeks weather. We never ever get goose eggs in mid February, maybe April. Last year we started in April and hatched everyone we could which ended up netting us 20 African geese that didn't stop til last one hatched in June from one goose. We now have 4 plus laying geese and if they all start laying and fertilized at this rate we will hit 80 to 100 geese hatched, what the flock!:yesss:

Playing around on the web this morning not thinking much of it, looking for posts and then there it was...at the local hardware store for a price that couldn't be beat within hundreds of miles from here and at the price of smaller T posts, I found 8' T posts for the price of 5.5' T posts on sale :ep
I hope no one else needs them cause I snatched all 804 of them :plbb
