I need a flock of peacocks next. I have a particular piece of property they can thrive on and a particular set of neighbors that would love them.
Current flock of geese wonder about 8 to 10 acres at a time.
:gig
I loved and miss our peacocks. Spring is the worst time for noise from the males. They quiet down once they begin to molt, I felt he was pretty miserable. The females are noisy the whole time they have baby's, calling to them. They are amazing mom's. Not sure they'd survive your winters.

But, I think you're right, the neighbors would love them...lol

Welcome home...

Looks like a cat head/face, where the ears are at will all be glass and south facing. Sunken living room too.
I have friends with a house like this. Not with the ears, but all windows and 2 stories. The lower space is all open, except for the supports, it has a workout area and the rest is misc usage. The views from upstairs are amazing.

I won't need stairs, I'm already the highest point for miles around thankfully. There will be a second story to this, but instead of going up it will be going down. Can't call it a basement when the whole house is buried except the windows in which the bottom floor will have some sort itself.

It's going to be really cool. I'm looking forward to following the process.
