Managed this 2500 square ft building pad in 6 hours yesterday. Part of the oh you can do this, wow now I see that, can you do this, oh how about this. Haven't had a day off since June 11th and it's only going to get worse. Time to pack the tool box up and go home from wrenching. Did the driveway in the background too.
This pad is what called a cut and fill, cut one half and fill in the lower half with what you cut from the top half with a 4% grade for drainage.

You are right about waiting years for water. I’m glad for your community’s sake that you are getting licensed to be a well driller. With all the things you know how to do, you are an asset to your community. You are finding your place in your community and they are finding you.

Looking at pics from work site --

1) Where do they hope to put that water tank?
2) Was that sitting on a slope shed there when purchased? Maybe its your camera angle but I doubt it. That's a mess.

The shed/tiny house/whatever?? Yeah - I was thinking the same thing. Doesn't look like a camera angle thing to me.

Congrats. Always hate to lose any, but 11 is more than enough for a first time gilt to take care of them. Hope she does well with feeding and comes into her milk. Were you expecting them to start now???
