Well, she gained 4#, though, it definitely does not look it, unless its 4# of rocks...
Color hasn't deepened, she's still actively coming over for fresh feed.

She's probably just a slim young lady by nature. I've had a couple of those. Really skinny, but healthy, fertile and forever eating.

Some of these skinny ewes definitely get the 'middle age spread' as they age. Some go from being skinny to blubbery within a year.

Skeletal, like dairy animals, is unacceptable to me.

Now that all but the Corriedale are out, she's a little more full bellied this morning and feeders have leftovers from dinner. Yay!

She was a normal thinness, she's sickly thin now. That'll ever gonna be okay to me. If she can't put the weight back on, she's a cull.

Sorry, I thought that she had gained weight.
The problem with cull ewes who are too thin is that they don't command much of a price.
Good Luck.

She did, just 4 pounds, but has a lot more to go.

She's already filled in. :clap Spine, some ribs and other major bones were visible from a mile away just last week. :barnie I completely spaced to get a pic, maybe it was too depressing...

She pooped out TONS of worms recently and some more now after deworming.

She's more active and normal every day. Full belly, too.

Bought some Dyne, that I read on another thread a member used on their calf to bulk up, hoping it helps. Started both on it.
Also found a chopped oat, timothy, alfalfa hay mix w/molasses added into it to also give them more options of feeds.
