I bought this heifer 2 weeks ago under the impression she was a Holstein cross. However, looking through a cow book the other day, I saw a breed of cattle that uncannily had the same markings. I could be totally wrong.
She is 5-6 mos old. If that helps any (lol)

That looks to be a blue and white holstein! The spots and the "grayish" coloring are what make me think this. They are a holstein/milking shorthorn cross and I love them and have been working a breeding some, not a lot of luck though. My avaitor is one, although she is rather on the dark side.

Here's another:

Ooh cool, I hope she is a shorthorn cross that way she'll be polled.
I have bee wanting a a shorthorn and this would fit the bill.
I wanted her for milking so she's good on that?

I wouldn't count on her being polled. We have dehorned many a holstein/shorthorn cross. But, if she isn't polled whoever you bought her from has dehorned her as she would have horns by now.

She would be good for milking. We have many of them and they do well. My problem is getting heifer calves that are blue! They seem to like being bull calves on me. :(

She isn't structured like that she has the skinny jersey look. but the black nose and ears are the same.

Her markings are also more the blue color.

Here is a bull calf born early this morning that could have been blue and white. See how he has the spots too. I had one that was white with a few hairs of blue in the tips of her ears. They very in markings greatly.
