So I'm a bit confused.

When I was reading about geese, initially a lot of the videos about Toulouse geese seemed to mostly have dewlap types. I had thought all toulouse were dewlap types because of this, with the heavy sagging neck sack flesh whatever.

But then I saw some videos of them without the extra heavy saggy dewlap flesh on them recently.

This was neat because I didn't really like the look of the dewlaps, but people had said a lot of positive stuff about the toulouse geese.

I'm curious if there's much difference between the toulouse geese with and without dewlaps? Do the dewlap types lose the ability to fly because of their sagging weight etc? And are there other differences between the two types within the same breed?

Thanks very much. They seem interesting, but the sagging melted flesh look isn't quite as appealing.
