People have issues with Dumor sometimes. I’ve gotten moldy feed from them a few times. I’m using nature wise rn and my hens are laying eggs again. But I live where it’s warmer.

DH mentioned that the news reported that some people were having trouble with chickens not laying on certain food brands. He couldn't remember what brand it was but said that people had switched to local brands and the chickens started laying again. Very vague.

I used to have chickens lay all winter by using a timer in the coop and a shop light. I had the shop light come on several hours before dawn. I didn't have any light continue after sunset because that would interfere with the chickens going to roost. My mother told me about this trick. I used it in the winter for the rabbitry too and had no trouble breeding all winter long.
