Hi!
Was offered an older llama for free as I really needed one as protection for my goats.
I seen her in a pasture I drive by everyday and felt bad that she is all by herself.
So she is an older 18 yr old llama. Never as far as I know handled or touched much by humans. She is a proven guardian and hates dogs in general.
So my question is, what am I getting myself into if I take her?
I mean I imagine there is care and such you have to normally provide such as hoof care, shearing and such?
How easy is it to socialize and tame a llama, especially an older one?
Would love some insight on this!
Thanks
Emily
