udder issue?

I have a katahdin ewe who weened her lamb about a month ago, I have noticd that one side of her udder has returned to normal but the other side is about the size or a baseball... it feels warm but so does everyone today and she is fairly skittish to be touched at the best of times. I have researched mastis but am not entirely sure if it is.. there is certainly little or no milk left in the udder.
