We use the 10 & 15 gallon TUFF water bowls all the time here. At least the pigs cannot destroy them. Pigs are pigs, they will sit in their bowls & tip them over. Part of life. They will also dig their own wallow if you do not do it for them. In this heat they need wallows & the bowls are so comfortable :) Don't stress over it, they will still drink the water even if they have lain in it. We refill ours twice a day & that seems to work.

As to the link you shared, the pigs will have destroyed that within a very short period of time. They will push & pull at it until it comes apart!

This is what we use. We bought a 55 gal drum that has a big screw on top. ($20.00) We then got a water nipple at TSC ($5.95). The farmer had to take out something on the inside of the nipple so that it would work better under gravity feed, but no big deal. He drilled a hole in the barrel and screwed the nipple in. Brought it out to the pigs, put water in it, showed them how water shoots out of this thing and within 3 minutes, they all new how to use it. They even figured out that they can make it spray water to help create their own wallow.

Sorry it's not the best picture, but it is all I have at work.
