Wattles

I had a buckling born today who had a wattle under an eye. Seemed strange I've never had one before.
I snipped it off with sissors. Came off clean and no bleeding. Just passing it along if anyone has wattles and wants a cleaner look, it was no big deal.
Do it on their birthday.

I had a pygmy doeling born a long time ago that had wattles at the base of her ears - looked just like earrings! Wish I had a pic, lol!

had a doeling born a couple of years with one wattle under her ear and the other in the normal place. I thought it was kind of cute so I left them. under an eye, yup, snip, snip.

I've never seen one under the eye, did you get a pic? Yeah, I'd be cutting it off too!

Some of our meat goats have wattles. I like them.

No. It was tiny. Looked like a skin tag. I should have gotten a photo. I was just surprised at how easily it came off with no bleeding.

I have a couple of kids that have had the earring look. Called one Sue, as in "A boy named Sue"
