We have a baby!!!!

So yesterday my husband and I noticed Missy may be pregnant. Yeah....."maybe". Then two hours later she gave birth. True story! She had one baby and both Moma and kid are healthy and happy. And the baby is sooo cute!!

Congrats!! Although, you know, you didn't get the full experience - the weeks and weeks of checking goat backsides, noting udder development, worrying about various discharges... all the midnight checks to see if she's kidded yet, watching her every movement and wondering if she's going into labor yet... calling off work and cancelling plans because you think she's giving birth 'any minute now' - lucky you, got off easy!!

Oh I know I got off easy! Thank you!! I'm actually very haptic I missed those months of anticipation. I was so stressed about the first time she got pregnant and birthed. So relieved it all went smoothly and the fact that Adam was home.
