Right before the really brutal heat hits.

Gives the girls a good while to recoup after the show, too.

We try to schedule this test before the show so that they have a few weeks to get back in the swing of things after the show
It was just good luck that we scheduled before the really hot weather
Hopefully they will have some time to adapt to that too

Wait, milk production goes down as the heat rises? It was in the low 90s last week and that's when she really upped her milk for me.

Is it maybe a breed-related thing?
