this is my first year with sheep. I have a wether and two ewe lambs. All 7 months old. I noticed the wether is trying to mount one of the ewes. Just the one. She seems to almost be inviting him to. She’ll stand near him, he’ll try to mount, she’ll walk away. I figured some mounting might be a normal dominance thing like with other animals. Is that the case here? They all seem to get along just fine and hang out together all day.

It's normal even though he can't do anything. Even ewes will mount other ewes.
