I’ve been looking at different cattle for fun and came across these two mini Jerseys. Which one looks like a better buy/quality animal to you:) Would love to know others’ thoughts...

Heifer #1 is 10 months old, halter broken, and will mature around 40”. Priced at 1,800

Cow #2 is 3yrs old and is being trained to hand milk. She is 44” tall. 10% Guernsey and 90% Jersey. Priced at 1,600 (mini jersey heifer calf for extra 700)

I'm certainly NOT a bovine expert - but I think I'd go with the proven cow. I've heard horror stories about heifers and calving problems. I can only imagine the likelihood of problems might be magnified with a mini. But, if you're just looking for a pet and have no intentions of breeding or milking that won't matter.
