What is an acceptable nuetering price/ what vaccines?

Hi. I am fairly new to mini pigs. I'm getting my 8 week old mini pig neutered by a vet. The vet said the price qould be about $80. I wanted to kbow of this is a decent price or suspiciously cheap. I was Also wondering if anyone had any vaccine recommendations. I have heard rabies and tetanus, but I was wondering what you guys thought. Thanks!

The price for neutering depends on the vets rates, $80 seems fine.

The practice for neutering normal piglets is typically done when they are very young like less then 2 weeks old, it is done on the farm and without any numbing or putting the piglet to sleep. The process take about 30 seconds per piglet. For vaccines, we do not vaccinate meat/breeder pig with anything and never have.

For pet piglets they recommend leptospirosis, tetanus, rabies, and erysipelas vaccines. Here are links to more info.
