Hey y’all,
Last year I bought a Jersey calf from a dairy farm. Let me go ahead and say that I am not very smart on cattle so please excuse my ignorant question. I’ve had a friend say that she isn’t sure what kind of cow I have but she is pretty sure it isn’t a Jersey because she hasn’t ever saw one like her before. I am going to include a photo. She is a brownish, reddish brindle and she never grew horns. She turned one year in January and she isn’t very big. Please educate me.🙂

Any news or just "stuff" to report? How is the heifer doing?

How is the weather in your area? Are you near the horrible fires or in the tornado/rain area in the past couple of weeks? Hope all is going well.

She’s doing quite well! I believe she has gotten bigger since I last posted. Do your dairy cows act like dogs too? Haha. She just wants loving all the time!

We are not close to the fires but we did get quite the weather Monday night. Tornados touched down around us in little towns near by, but thank God they passed by us. The damage done in those areas is devastating.
Thanks for checking in!

I'm between Crockett and Lufkin. A tornado touched down in Crockett, 30 miles from me, then went northward and did a lot of damage. I'm glad that you were unscathed and all is well.
