what to Feed last few months?

We have a Holstein steer around 700 pds and want to know what to feed him the last few months ? He is on 16% feed now and pasture and he gets corn also growing great but not sure what to give him when we pen him up in the feed lot.

Readed to give sweet feed and some say corn what is the best and fastest to put the pds. on.

What exactly is the "16% feed" you are giving him?

How many lbs per day of grain and feed are you giving him?

What is the target weight you are aiming to finish him at?

Sorry for all the questions, but those were the more important things that we needed to know.

Keep him on pasture, but up the grain. 20 to 25 lbs per day is the most you should be at.

Holsteins need a lot of grain in order to marble satisfactorily. Give him at least 20 lbs of corn and enough protein to keep him growing well. You should be able to access a lot of information from your county extension agent.
