I was wondering what all of your guys favorite farm animal was and which you have had best experience owning. Even if you've only owned one of these animals then you can still take the poll. I was just curious which was your favorite.

What's a LSD Dog? You mean a LGD?

Sheep, only need hay in winter, cheap meat. Also have fiber to sell from them.
My horses are pets, not really a farm critter to me, since they don't pay for themselves and such.
LGDs are a necessity, =/ but fun to play with.

    Mac, would be disappointed.

Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O
And on his farm he had no cow, E-I-E-I-O
No moo-moo here No moo-moo there
    Not a moo
    Where's the moo
    Nowhere a moo-moo
Old MacDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O

I think you can change the name of one of the sheep to something else. If no, maybe you can ask one of the mods to fix it for you.

I have found that our "favorites" often change over the years.

There was a time when I lived for a horse...any horse. Now, I still admire a nice one but, can enjoy them from afar. At the same time, a goat was just cute and now, I enjoy and appreciate their personalities and production abilities.

I think my favorite would probably be sheep if I could get the darn thing to mate. Right now is have to say rabbits. I've gotten more meat and money out of them with the smallest amount of oversite than anything so far.
