Who milks goats and does not pasturize

Just curious how many people drink their goats milk raw.. I have been reading up on the pro vs con, and think I will stick with raw... thoughts?

DH and I have been drinking goat's milk without pasturizing for 4 years, no problems yet.

I keep goats clean, strain the milk and refrigerate it as soon as it comes out of the goat.

We drink it raw. Filter and refrigerate right after milking.

I milked my first freshener in Spring 2012 and did not pasturize and loved it.

Why do you filter the milk?

To get the dust and hair and anything else that may have fallen into the milk bucket out. Years ago when I milked I was always amazed at what would be filtered out, even though I thought there was nothing in there that shouldn't be. I hand milk so you have an open pail, but even if I machine milked I would filter.
