Why to raise sheep?

You shouldn't have to go too far West or South to find what you want. Plenty of hair sheep in San Angelo area and the farther south you go from Bexar you'll find plenty as well.
B-I-L is raising St Croix here in deep East Texas, but started with Dorper x StCroix. He sold those and went straight St Croix.
