Yak

Does anyone here own a yak? I'm thinking of getting a few, and would love to know your stories.

It's been a while since you've posted but I'll tell you about ours. We have a yak cow ,Betty , her two year old bull 'calf',Harry, and her Hereford cross heifer calf, ruby. Our yaks were not raised with people and are pretty much range cows. They are however very docile and easy to work with. Harry and Betty will come up and eat out of your hand. I will warn you yaks can jump. Ours jump over our four foot fences with ease
