I was afraid I'd miss Cecily being in heat, she's very subtle and quiet. Pandora IS in heat, but we aren't breeding her. We just got them and Pandora got fairly sick there for a while--she needs time to recover.

My husband and I were supposed to leave in the morning for a nice weekend together to celebrate our anniversary...kids with grandma everything taken care of, then bam. our Cecily goes into heat and we end up driving her to her date :) and heading to our weekend after that.

Goat breedings are hilarious. All those googly eyes and wagging tongues. The van reeked so bad though. My girl really stinks now!

But early march should be exciting :D

Thanks, I've been stressing over this goat ownership stuff. And never have we bred an animal. We help with dog rescue (akitas)and ALWAYS spay/neuter, so this is a first :)
