When a doe loses her ligaments, are they completely gone--as in you can't feel them at all? These pictures are of Ricola, who is due in 4 days. I can still feel rope-like ligaments on either side of her tail, but they are a little more flexible and further down than they were a couple of days ago.
As you can see, she has sunken indentations on either side of her tail, and I can press my fingers in pretty far around her spine. Her udder is pretty full for a FF, and she's been having whitish discharge off and on for a few weeks.
She's acting just the tiniest bit peculiar this afternoon, but that could be just because it's really hot and she's really pregnant. If someone can tell me that the ligaments will really be gone when they're gone, I'll just relax and go out to dinner tonight.
Thanks!
