Can you give me the run down on drawing blood and getting it tested for goatie diseases? Where do I draw? How? What size needle? Who do I send it to?

I have the vet do it.

I do it myself with a 20g/3mL and send the samples into BioTracking or WADDL. It's super easy once you get the hang of it and the goats are extremely forgiving of an extra poke or two. I highly recommend you have a second person who is halfway competent hold the goat.

Jugular vein. There is a tutorial on the biotracking website...or a link to one. It shows a young girl doing the draw! Sure made me brave....
